Nothing New

I've not been behaving myself for the past few days, as I'm sure you guessed by my silence!! I've discovered one thing, my system is all weird and whacky, and I'm fairly certain I'm suffering from a multitude of peri-menopause symptoms. That TOM lasted for 2 weeks, I have night sweats, I've packed on a whole bunch of inches around my middle where I previously didn't gain much weight, and I've gotten VERY weight-loss resistant. I've always known my body well, and if I exercise, and stick to plan the weight comes off fairly steady. This tiime. Not so. Sure I dropped 5 pounds easily (can also put 5 on from morning to night time), but after that, not much action! This is going to be discouraging for me.

I'm going away on vacation for 5 days. We plan to get lots of exercise between hiking in the mountains, and using the workout rooms, I'm sure we won't 'diet', but during that time, I'm going to do a lot of reflecting to come up with a plan that I can live with. I'm taking along "Dr. Phil", and a couple of other books I have, so I can do so reading while I'm gone.

I'm taking the laptop with me, so I may post while I'm gone, if I can get a connection.

Talk to you when I return.
