Doesn't Fit In

I apologize for having some very irrelevant postings here. I just added the proper categories for each of my blogs with one of the companies that pay me to blog, so that very soon I won't have to be posting about executive desks and office furniture on a weight loss blog any more!

Where do you carry your excess weight? At this weight, it's EVERYWHERE! But when I first started putting on the pounds, the first place I put it on, was my ass!! The last place, my bustline. In other words, the last thing I'm ever going to need is a padded panty!! Now, a padded bra, is a whole other entry!

Green Tea

Everyone has heard of the goodness of Green Tea and weight loss. I used to drink it quite regularly when I was well on the good path. One thing I couldn't figure out was why I couldn't drink it in the mornings. It always made me queasy! In the afternoons or evenings it was fine. Strangest thing!

Have you noticed any changes from adding green tea to the menu?

Release the Stress

Ever since hearing about all the fun Sarah and Jay had on their Hawaiian honeymoon, I've had a big urge to go away somewhere. Somewhere like the Outer Banks. It looks fabulous!

Caffeine- Yay or Nay?

I've been doing a little bit of research about the good/bad effects of having caffeine while dieting. Opinions seem to be pretty much split. About half the people seem to think that it speeds up the metabolism, and gives them extra energy for workouts. Others, seem to think that it messes up your blood sugars. I hate to give up my Starbucks (Americano).

As a parting note, what do you call a machine that can make both cappuccino and espresso? Ajura capresso!

Have You Been?

While my brain is in holiday mode, I've been searching around online looking for ideas. We've been to Disneyland a couple of times before, but never to Disneyworld in Florida. I hear great things about it, and we both really enjoy those types of vacations. It would be even more fun if we reserved a Orlando rental home, and then took Jay, Sarah, Ben and Jess with us!

Get Away

I've had a hard time recovering from this wedding! We've been home for nearly 2 weeks, during which time it's been super hot, because of that, I just don't seem to have the energy to do much. I really need to get back into some kind of routine again. Either that, or I'm going on a vacation to aVermont bed and breakfast and relax!

Foreign Owners

My husband is a manager of a large grocery chain store. I don't know very much about retail sales and management, other than what I've listened to (sometimes endlessly) and learned from him over the years. One thing I do know, is that this chain is owned by a company in another country. Sometimes the decisions they make, regarding products, and pricing, or changes in policy just don't make much sense for "here"! In spite of their market research, they still don't always hit the mark.
