Moving to Texas

Jay's middle sister is expecting her first baby in 3 weeks. As if that isn't enough of a life-changing experience, a couple of months ago, they flew to Texas, and checked out a bunch ofBranson homes for sale. They found a GREAT buy on a gorgeous home on one acre. I've seen the pictures, and it looks like South Fork! I just can't imagine what the 2 of them are going to do for work down there! They don't have work visas or anything, but after the baby is born, they're moving! I guess grandma is thinking of going down there and staying for a month or so.

My GF is Car Shopping

One of my good friends at work, is car shopping. She's been looking at a few different models, and everything from sports cars to SUV's. I think what she's leaning most towards right now, is a Charger. She's really fallen in love with it. She was even checking out Dodge Charger accessories, so I think she's fairly serious about it. I guess her next move is to check out financing, etc.

Mom Goes Digital

My Mom finally bought a flat screen plasma TV, a tv wall mount, and got herself hooked up to digital cable. She's lives alone, and really enjoys watching TV, so I don't know why she didn't do it a long time ago! I haven't talked to her since she got connected to see what she thinks of it, but I'm sure she's pretty excited about it! I'm finally getting the Canadian version of a TIVO. I don't know what they cost in the US, but it's very expensive here!! Accck!

Methane Gas Detector

We all know we need fire detectors in our homes. Also, as of late, they highly recommend a carbon monoxide detector, which to me, is hugely important, as one of my co-workers had one, and it went off, so they were able to open all the windows, and get out of the house. When they went in to test, it had a real high level of carbon monoxide. They were lucky! Now there ismethane gas detection equipment, although I have no idea where you'd use them!
